Festivals in the Deserts & Inland Empire – 2024 & 2025
We think visiting a Deserts or Inland Empire travel destination — be that Palm Springs, Big Bear Lake, Temecula or wherever you may be headed — is simply more fun when a foodie-type festival is on the agenda. And, whether you’re researching for a future trip or looking for something to do this weekend, if you enjoy food and wine events the list below should be useful to your purposes.
For each listing, you’ll find where and when the event is scheduled to occur, plus a link to a website that provides all the event’s details. The list includes dates for 2024 events as well as some for which 2025 dates are already scheduled. ***Events for which a 2025 date is available are marked with a triple-asterisk to avoid confusion.***
Many of these occur annually and around the same time every year. While we update this list periodically, if you’re planning a future trip and a 2023 event looks interesting click through to see if the organizer has recently provided a date for 2024. We also recommend that you verify an event’s details close to your travel date.
You may wonder why the summer schedule here is so light. That’s because festivals of this sort tend to take place at outdoor venues, and summer temperatures here are so warm that most folks don’t want to spend extended periods outside. But that also means you can enjoy gelato in April!
